Documentary photography is my way of learning and teaching. It allows me to view problems in the world, the hunger, the struggle and plight of underdeveloped nations, troublesome neighborhoods, and the sometimes-sheer inhumanity of the world and re-present it to viewers by way of photographs. My hope is for the subjects to speak to the viewers through the photographs and remind the viewers that we all need a little help once in a while.
